1 year (non-sales) industry experience, 3 days training.
Although Peter had been working in the industry for the last 12 months, this had been in a non-sales environment so joining the firm was his first taste of a heavily target driven role. He undertook 3 days training immediately upon starting.
Having never made a sales call before, Peter was obviously a little anxious about the next few days, but soon realized that sales could be a straight-forward, enjoyable and rewarding experience.
On his third day, Peter made 136 calls, secured 3 meetings, received 6 CV’s and scheduled in conversations with 17 further potential candidates over the next few days!
Peter has subsequently been promoted much quicker than expected and is now a key member of the team. Although all this success is his own, he attributes much of his rapid career progression to the first few days he spent with Co-Venture.
