4 months industry experience, 3 days training.
Simon had lots of natural people skills and a good work ethic, and was expected to become a strong consultant. However, this had not translated into good performance against target, raising concerns for both himself and management.
Simon undertook 3 days of intense training with the aim of delivering a step change in call volume and a much improved conversion rate.
It was clear Simon lacked confidence and direction. Being taken back to basics, then put through intense interactive training and subsequently moving quickly back out into a live sales environment worked well.
This gave Simon a completely new perspective on how to excel within the role and enjoy it. He has exceeded all his targets ever since. Simon was also promoted, and secured the much-coveted quarterly Directors’ prize, within a few months of completing the training.
